MRCT'S SCOPES
The scopes of MRCT, as they are delineated in its by-law are:
- To function as a rehabilitation centre for tortured persons and their
families as well.
- To educate greek or foreign health professionals in order to examine and
cure tortured people.
- To contribute, through a wide circle to the transmission of knowledge about
the existence and the different kinds of torture and about the possibility of
rehabilitation of victims of torture.
- To carry out scientific research and give incentives on research about
torture and its consequences.
- To maintain and develop an information centre (documentation).
- To contribute to the prevention of torture by promoting the foretold four
"partial" purposes.
