CASE 1 Mr. N, 35 years old, comes from Africa and he is in Greece, with his family, since 2004. In his country, he was arrested twice because of his origins. During these arrests, he was tortured and in particular, underwent non-systematic beatings, burns with cigarettes and other heating objects, sexual abuse (by 3-4 people) and injection with a liquid that caused him an intense hand trembling, since then. Through MRCT, he was examined by a surgeon and an endocrinologist, while he had sessions with the psychologist of the center. On top of that, material aid was provided to the family. CASE 2 Mrs. S, 30 years old, comes from Africa and she came recently in Greece, with her husband and her two kids. In her country, she was arrested three times for a total period of one month, as it was considered that her action was in opposition to the government. During these arrests, she was kept in a small room, where she was raped by two men and underwent non-systematic beatings. Through MRCT, she was examined by a neurologist, a general doctor and a dentist and underwent hand surgery. Moreover material aid was provided to the family. Lately she started having sessions with the psychologist of the center. CASE 3 Mr. L, 18 years old, comes from Iran and he is in Greece since 2004 with his family. In Iran, he was arrested 3 times for a total period of  3 months, accused of participating in an organisation against the dictatorship. During these arrests he was tortured: he was subjected to non-systematic beatings, hanging upside down and submarino, while he was present at mock excecutions. Through MRCT he had blood and urine tests, was examined by a general doctor and a pneumonologist and the psychologist of the center. CASE 4 Mrs. K, 32 years old comes from Afghanistan and she is in Greece since 2004. In Afghanistan she was arrested twice because of her political action. During these arrests she was raped by three guards, boiled water was thrown on her back and threats were made against her. Through MRCT, she was examined by a general doctor and a pneumonologist, while she had sessions with the psychologist of the center. Moreover, through MRCT contact with an other NGO, she found home in a hostel. CASE 5 Mr. O, 52 years old comes from Turkey and he is in Greece since 2004. In Turkey he was arrested six times, for a total period of about 22 years, because of his political action. During these arrests he was subjected to falanga, hanging upside down, Palestinian hanging and electroshock to different body parts, testicle astriction and attempt of nail extraction. Through MRCT, he had blood and urine tests and was examined by a neurologist (for the Wernicke Korsocoff Syndrome), an orthopaedic and a surgeon.
